Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

The short version: Purely Positive Kids has no ads and no advertising trackers. Kids can play without an account. We never ask children for their name, email, photo or location. Accounts and payments are for grown-ups only. Most progress (stars, coins, kid profiles) stays on your own device.

1. Information that stays on your device

Game progress, stars, coins, XP, trophies, kid profile nicknames, saved drawings, robots and settings are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. We don't receive them. Clearing your browser data deletes them.

2. Visitor counter

To count visits, our server turns your internet address (IP) into a one-way code mixed with a secret and the date. The raw IP address is never stored, and codes from different days can't be linked. We only keep totals (visits, people online, app installs).

3. Grown-up accounts and memberships

4. Leaderboard (optional)

If a grown-up chooses to join the leaderboard, we store the name typed in (letters only; please use a first name or nickname, never a full name) and the XP score, linked to a random player code. You can leave the leaderboard at any time from the Trophies page, which deletes the name and score.

5. Contact form

Messages sent through our Contact page include what you write, an optional reply email, the page you came from and your browser type (to help fix bugs). They are stored so we can read and answer them, and may be emailed to our team.

6. Children's privacy

Purely Positive Kids is made for children ages 3 to 7 (and our classroom up to 5th grade), so we designed it to collect as little as possible. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Children can play without an account; accounts, purchases, the leaderboard and the contact form are for grown-ups. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Services we use

We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

8. How long we keep information

We keep account information while your account is open. Visitor codes are deleted within 2 days. You can ask us to delete your account and its information at any time; billing records may be kept as long as the law requires.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you or your family, or close your account, by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR; we will honor them.

10. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), scrambled (hashed) passwords and limits on sign-in attempts. No system is perfect, so please use a password you don't use anywhere else.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and post a notice for important changes.
